Benson
leases office for bridge project

The
Benson Town Board held a special meeting on July 9, the purpose of which was to
present to Winn Construction a lease agreement and receive from Winn
Construction their lease agreement and come to an amicable agreement between
the Benson Town Board and Winn Construction Services, Inc.
Councilman
Dave Rogers moved to lease to Winn Construction Services, Inc. office space in
the Town Hall building for the duration of time allotted to finish construction
of the Hatchbrook Bridge Project. The lease cost to Winn Construction Services,
Inc. is $1,600 per month. Furthermore,
it is resolved that the Benson Town Supervisor is granted permission by the
Benson Town Board to sign such an agreement with Winn Construction Services,
Inc.
The
motion was seconded by Councilman Doug Gregor and passed by all.
The
town clerk will have two front door keys and an office key made for the
appropriate personnel.
The
Town Credit Card for Highway Superintendent George Blowers was activated on
July 9, 2019.
A
resolution is to be presented at the July regular meeting regarding standard
work hours for Justice Deputy Clerk and employee Robbie Blowers.
