Countdown deal for vampire novel Blood Red Pleasure

Countdown deal for vampire novel Blood Red Pleasure

Announcing a price Countdown deal for the Kindle ebook version of Pete Klein’s vampire novel - Blood Red Pleasure.
Blood Red Pleasure, is the newest vampire novel by Peter Klein, and follows the latest exploits of four generations of vampires: Joseph, who turned Beth, Beth who turned Mary, and Mary who turned Ana.
Although Klein's creations can walk freely in the sunlight, and have other advantages over their more traditional counterparts, that does not mean that fitting into the human world is without its challenges, especially in a post 9/11 world, where cultural paranoia and technological advances in personal and national security coincide to make flying under the radar next to impossible for this family of immortal killers.
Unbound by human standards of morality, gender boundaries, or “normality”, these characters live solely for their own personal satisfaction, which is often tied up in the love they hold for one another, and the unrivaled bliss that is to be found in the merging of sex and blood, regardless of why the two are being shared to express love or deliver death.
With characters that are complex, and the relationships between them even more so, Blood Red Pleasure is a book that has a lot to offer vampire aficionados as well as fans of several different genres of erotica.
The countdown starts on Friday, Oct. 3.
Oct. 3, at 8 am (PST) $0.99 a 76% discount
Oct. 4,  at 8 am (PST) $1.99 a 51% discount

The Dancing Valkyrie price break on Amazon

The vampire novel, The Dancing Valkyrie, by Peter Klein will go on sale at $0.99 in the Kindle version on Amazon, starting on Sept. 12, 2014.
This is a count-down deal. 99 cents on Sept. 12; $1.99 on Sept. 13, $2.99 on Sept. 14 before returning to the regular low price of $3.99 on Sept. 16.

Blood and sex. Of course love, but not the way humans think about it.
This is the recurring theme throughout The Dancing Valkyrie, a story about Mary Hoffman, librarian by day and exotic dancer by night. Mary, needing some time alone takes a hike along a secluded upstate New York trail. She is saved from two predatory young men by Beth, a beautiful woman slightly older than Mary. The two join together for the rest of the trail, becoming romantically involved along the way. Beth, it turns out is a vampire, and quickly introduces Mary to the mystical world she lives in. After inviting Mary back to her castle, built by her brother, Joseph, in a remote area, Mary is seduced into becoming a vampire as well. Joseph and Beth are hundreds of years old, and pose as brother / sister, but are husband and wife, or, in vampire terms, father and daughter. Thus begins the fascinating story of Mary's transition from human woman to vampire.

Hachette vs. Amazon

Hachette_Publishing

Hachette Publishing should change its name to Hashshit Publishing. Really!
But all joking aside, the dispute between Amazon and Hachette is really a dispute between the
past and the future.
As Amazon correctly points out, “Just ahead of World War II, there was a radical invention that
shook the foundations of book publishing. It was the paperback book. This was a time when
movie tickets cost 10 or 20 cents, and (hardcover) books cost $2.50. The new paperback cost 25
cents - it was ten times cheaper. Readers loved the paperback and millions of copies were sold in
just the first year.”
Now I must confess I have no idea how much money Amazon makes from a Stephen King novel
sold on Amazon for $18 in hardcover, $17.75 in paperback and $11.99 as an ebook. I don’t care.
Nor do I know how much Amazon makes from a Stephen Colbert book sold on Amazon for
$28.99 in hardcover and $12.99 as an ebook. I don’t know and I don’t care because at any price I
have no intention of buying any book from either King or Colbert - not because I have anything
against either man but because I have become bored with King (last book read by him was the
overly wordy The Stand) and I get all the Colbert I can take or stand for free on TV.
What I do know for certain is there is a real difference in the manufacturing cost between
hardcover, print and ebooks. I also know neither King nor Colbert are depending on me buying
their books for them to make a living.
You get some idea of what a hardcover actually costs to manufacture by looking at the price of a
hardcover by Stephen King. The only reason there is so little price difference between a King
hardcover and a paperback book is the result of print volume. Simply put, the greater the print
run, the lower the manufacturing cost. This is true for both paperback and hardcover. But when it
comes to ebooks the volume sold has zero effect upon the cost to produce. Selling one ebook is
no more expensive than selling 1,000,000 ebooks. Whatever the profit might be for the author or
the publisher of ebooks changes only by the number of ebooks sold.
Let’s let the cat out of the bag. When I list an ebook on Amazon for $3.99, I make $2.76. If I list
the same book at $2.99, I make $2.04. If I list the exact same book as a paperback that sells for
$13.99, I make $4.26.
Obviously, I would make more money selling paperbacks than ebooks. Not quite so obviously, I
sell more ebooks than print books. Price does seem to matter.
But I don’t believe price is the only reason many are switching to ebooks. While I admit there is
nothing like opening up a paperback or better yet a hardcover book, they do have their problems.
When was the last time you moved and had to move all of your books? Next to the sofa and the
refrigerator, they were probably the heaviest items you had to move. Not fun. And when was the
last time you went on vacation and needed to decide which books to bring and which to leave at
home because of their bulk and weight? But with ebooks, you can carry as many as you have
wherever you move or vacation to without any weight or bulk beyond the weight of your reading
device. It is for these reasons (plus cost) that I believe ebooks are the future whether anyone likes
it or not.
I don’t know if it matters to you. Maybe it does and maybe it doesn’t. But do you the reader feel
comfortable knowing you are paying $11.99 or $12.99 for something that cost less than 95 cents
to manufacture and deliver to your reading device?
This is what the fight is about - the future vs. the past and fair price vs. high price.

Take 5 Interview of Pete Klein

Take 5 Interview

How does being Catholic fuel an author's fascination with vampires? Is it difficult to make the
transition from reporter to novelist? "Take 5" with acclaimed author Peter Klein below and find
out:
1) How has your being Catholic fueled your fascination with vampires?

Complicated. I don't believe anyone can be condemned for being who and what God made them
to be. This is basic to my imaginative view of vampires. If they were to exist, they would be flesh
and blood creatures created by God. No creature exists, from T Rex to tigers to humans to
vampires without God being the creator.

2) What makes the vampires in your novels different from the ones in other authors' writings?

The history of vampires in fiction and the human imagination has always viewed them as demons
of sorts, My take is to see them as a natural, undiscovered creature who from a morality point of
view is no more evil than any of the worlds top predators which are capable of killing humans for
food or in self defense. Think of a lion or tiger who looks like and passes for being human.

3) Was it difficult to make the transition from reporter to novelist?

No. I was interested in writing fiction before I became a reporter and continue to be a reporter. I
believe my writing as a reporter has helped me be a better novelist and being a novelist has helped
me be a better reporter.

4) How's life in the Adirondacks these days?

The Adirondacks is a unique place. It is the largest wilderness area east of the Rockies. The
county I live in, Hamilton County, is larger than the state of Rhode Island but has a year-round
population of only about 5,000. We have long, cold winters with lots of snow and short, warm
summers. But my favorite season is fall where the autumn colors are fantastic.

5) Which author, living or dead, would you want to pen the story of your life?

Laugh, laugh. I have an aunt who keeps bugging me to write my own biography because she
thinks I have led a very interesting life. Just for kicks, Truman Capote might be a choice. Other
choices might be Herman Hesse or E. A. Poe. Looking at the question from the point of view of a
reporter, I would pick Hemingway. I like his brevity.

Blood Red Pleasure Amazon Book Review

Blood Red Pleasure Amazon Book Review

5.0 OUT OF 5 STARS SOLID, ACTION PACKED QUALITY VAMPIRE READ-
DEFINITELY A THUMBS UP READ JUNE 23, 2014

By Diana L TOP 500 REVIEWER
Verified Purchase

I love a good vampire read but I’ll admit - the good vampire plots have been a bit sparse lately.
The book description for Blood Red Pleasure gave me hope that I had found a great read and I
wasn’t disappointed.
I bought this book before departing for a vacation in Mexico and made the mistake of deciding to
“just look” at the first couple pages on my Kindle. I’ll warn you now - once you start this read,
you will have a hard time putting it down. It drew me in and kept me captivated from beginning
to end. Needless to say, this Hoosier didn’t make it anywhere close to the border before finishing
this excellent vampire read.
Erica (our main character) was well created. This is not the sugar coated vampire read that
unfortunately (in my opinion) has saturated the vampire genre lately.
Erica and the other vampires have actual lives (she owns a business). She doesn’t just prance
around announcing she’s a vampire. The characters interact well together and the story moves at a
consistent clip with no lags.
I liked the variety of locations that the author used – taking us from Erica’s place of business to a
castle in Romania and also into the Adirondacks.
The plot was great and I couldn’t ask for a better vampire read.
Definitely recommend this read.

Print vs. Ebooks

There are two problems with printed books. both soft cover and hard cover, both of which I
happen to like.
Cost is the number one problem. The second problem is weight.
If you own a lot of books like I do, you quickly realize how much they weigh when you move.
Coming up to the Adirondacks or anyplace else and it’s much easier to lug along your Kindle
than it is to bring more than a couple of books.
If you buy books online as many do, you instantly can start reading the ebook while you have to wait a week to have the printed version shipped. If you pay for faster shipping, the cost of the printed book goes way up.
You say you don’t like reading digital? That is exactly what you are doing right now. Yes,
printed books are nice. I love them so much that I have several sitting on one of my many
bookshelves that I have never read. They look nice sitting there and I encourage you to buy your
print books from me and while you are at it, you can also download the ebook version for when

you feel you don’t want to carry the print when you go on vacation.
If you don't know where to get started, check out my titles below.
All of Peter Klein’s vampire novels are now on sale with new book covers for The Dancing Valkyrie and The Vampire Valkyrie.

Why I write about vampires the way I do.

Quite simply, I don't believe in any supernatural monsters. I believe any creature that did, does or could exist would be natural.
I don't believe vampires that look human do exist but if they were to exist, then they might be very much like the vampires I write about. This is why one of the titles for my third vampire novel was titled "And God Created Vampires."
Second main thought in writing these vampire stories is my firm belief that if they were to exist, they would have every right to live as vampires. No apologies. No excuses. Their thoughts would be their thoughts. Their ways would be their ways. Just as a tiger or a wolf have no reason to feel "immoral" because they kill other living creatures, my vampires are not immoral just because they kill humans when they take blood.

Apex Review info
Peter Klein
Bio

Pete Klein was born and raised in Detroit, Mich. where he
attended Notre Dame High, Harper Woods. After high school, Pete joined the US
Navy and served as a Corpsman in New Port, RI, and Long Beach, CA. After
receiving an Honorable Discharge, it was back to Detroit for a year before
moving to NYC to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Klein says, "I lived in New York at the right time (mid
60's) in the Lower East Side (East Village) and enjoyed discovering the city
and myself.
In 1968 Klein married Carmen Austin. In 71 they moved upstate
where they raised children and Pete worked in the automotive aftermarket as a
manufacturer's rep, traveling all of upstate NY.
Then it was back down to the city for a few years as the
sales manager for a firm importing automotive parts and accessories from the
Far East.
Missing the country life, Klein moved the family back upstate
to the Adirondacks in 1987.
Klein has been living in the Adirondacks for the past 27
years and has been a reporter for the Hamilton County Express for the past 13
years. It was going to work as a reporter that finally moved him to return to
his early dream of writing books.
The thought of writing vampire novels came early. After first
watching the original Dracula movie, Klein asked his grandmother, a German born
and raised in Romania, if there were any truth to the story. The grandmother,
being a sensible Catholic, responded, "That's just foolish
superstition."
But the fascination with vampires didn't die. Klein says,
"I think being Catholic had something to do with the vampire fascination.
Here I'm talking about the blood of life, intrinsic to both the story of Jesus
and vampires, and the sexual undertones of most vampire stories.
The vampires in Klein's novels are very different from those
in other novels. Here again, Klein believes his Catholic background has much to
do with the difference in his novels.
Klein says, "I can enjoy just about any vampire novel or
movie but never find any of them in the least bit believable or scary. I figure
if there were any chance of vampires being real, they would need to be natural
creatures created by God for whatever reason God would create them. Therefore,
even though my vampires are extremely dangerous, I do not see them as demons. I
tend to view them much as I view any deadly predator. They look and act like
the humans they were before they became vampires but they do need blood and
take what they need when the need arises."
In addition to writing for the paper and writing books, Klein
also writes book reviews for AllBooks Book Review.

Vampire books appear below in
order of publication. Other books by Pete Klein follow in order of publication
“The Dancing Valkyrie” (ISBN: 1440432198 | ISBN-13: 9781440432194)
begins and ends in the Adirondacks of northern New York. It is the story of a
young woman who is an erotic dancer at a topless club in Schenectady, NY, who
becomes a vampire while on a hike in the wilds of the Adirondacks.
The novel follows her rapid
acclimation into being what she was born to be - a vampire with a lust for both
blood and sex, and draws to a conclusion when she meets with a vampire who
lives to kill other vampires - and whose name is Van Helsing.
"The Vampire Valkyrie" (ISBN: 1452877793 | ISBN-13:
9781452877792) continues the tale of the vampire Mary Hoffman, a.k.a. Erica,
the Dancing Valkyrie, who fights to protect her erotic dance club and her girls
from mobsters who want to control her and her club - or kill her if she
resists.
A Schenectady City Councilwoman wants to pass legislation to
close down or strictly limit the operation of adult businesses, an a upstate
crime boss wants control of Mary and her club and a New York City crime family
seeks to discredit the upstate crime boss through Mary and her club. Many
people die, both the innocent and the guilty, as a result of Mary's
determination to save herself, her girls and her club, while wondering if she
should stop being involved with humans and just kill all who infringe upon her
freedoms as a vampire.
“And God Created Vampires” (ISBN-13: 978-1477527450 ASIN:
B0088YS3CW) is the third vampire novel featuring Mary Hoffman, a.k.a. Erica,
who now needs to confront mistakes made as she tries to untangle herself from
those mistakes and extricate herself from being under surveillance by both the
FBI and CIA.
Who and how many will she need
to kill to live freely as a vampire created by God?
“Blood Red Pleasure” (ISBN-10: 1499139659  ISBN-13: 978-1499139655 Blood Red Pleasure
continues the story of the young vampire, Mary Hoffman, aka Erica, as she tries
to untangle the mistakes she made during her first year as a vampire. Mary and
Ana, Mary’s creation and lover, need to decide if they want to rebuild their
gentlemen’s club destroyed in a fire or drop all associations with humans in an
effort to stop surveillance by the FBI and CIA who regard them as persons of
interest in the torching of their club and a competitors club. They also need
to decide on the fate of a Schenectady City Councilwoman who is the only human
who knows they are vampires, a woman who wants to be part of their love
triangle and hopes to help them secure humans for the blood they need. The
story follows them from Schenectady to a castle in Romania to a castle in the
Adirondacks and all points near and in between. Blood will flow. A professor
will become an unwitting terrorist. The innocent and the guilty will die before
Mary and Ana are satisfied.
"Adirondack Hikes in Hamilton County" (ISBN: 1453608141 |
ISBN-13: 9781453608142) is the first published hiking guide aimed only at
trails and attractions in Hamilton County, NY.
In addition to being a trail guide, the book offers tips on
many outdoor activities, state campgrounds, local chambers of commerce and who
to call in an emergency.
“Confession of an
Online Male Prostitute”
(ISBN: 145374245X | ISBN-13: 9781453742457) is
about a middle aged married man whose sex life with his wife has been absent
for a number of years. Yearning for some sex but not willing to go to bars or

anyone to pay him to take off his clothes and perform what amounts to an online
peep show.

Botched Execution

Oklahoma just had a "botched" execution.
I’ve never understood how killing a person in good health is humane while killing a person who is dying and in pain is inhumane and called murder. We seem to have a language problem in this country, along with many other problems. But if a state really wants to kill someone, why be so exotic about it? Vets put down animals with only one injection. They don’t need a “cocktail” to do it. Do they use cocktails so no one executioner can be the one giving the fatal dose? A bit cowardly, I would say. I would also like to know all who are taking part in the killing from the Jury, Judge and Executioner or Executioners. Again, cowardly. Lastly, if they insist on doing it, they need to strike the part about the people of the state are doing it. Unless we all get to vote on who gets executed, it is not the people of the state who are doing it. The fact of the matter is that states and the federal government like to hold a monopoly when it comes to murder. They just hate competition from the public.

The Dancing Valkyrie book review by Allbooks

Blood and sex. Of course love, but not the way humans think about it.
This is the recurring theme throughout The Dancing Valkyrie, a story about Mary Hoffman, librarian by day and exotic dancer by night. Mary, needing some time alone takes a hike along a secluded upstate New York trail. She is saved from two predatory young men by Beth, a beautiful woman slightly older than Mary. Joseph and Beth are hundreds of years old, and pose as brother / sister, but are husband and wife, or, in vampire terms, father and daughter. Thus begins the fascinating story of Mary's transition from human woman to vampire.
This book is full of rich and incredibly descriptive prose that makes you feel you are in every scene. The dialog is both thought provoking and believable (or course we are talking about vampires), with an excellent mix of philosophical, religious and historical references mixed within the real time story.
The plot is not complex, as the story is more of a journey than a twisty-turny, keep you in the dark project. It is more than adequate, however, as you quickly become submersed in the protagonist's discovery process. Klein presents vampires in a light never seen before, and frankly one of the most inventive and most original depictions I've ever read.
This is an absolute must read if you are a vampire fan. It should be tempered with the fact that it is an erotic novel, however, the sex is an integral part of the novel's framework and not only necessary, but adds to the overall richness of the work. A pleasant surprise on the last page was: "TO BE CONTINUED".

The Ukraine

So now Obama want to give $1 billion to the Ukraine.
Isn't about time we stop picking on Russia, sticking our big nose all over the world and giving away money to other countries while we are in debt and don't seem to want to spend any money fixing our infrastructure and educating our children.
If our fearless, over paid elected representatives don't wise up, the people will start coming after them with torches and pitch forks.

Title: Compass: Creating Exceptional Organizations: A Leader's Guide
Author: William F. Brandt, Jr.

Compass: Creating Exceptional Organizations: A Leader's Guide by William F. Brandt, Jr. is much more than just a guide for leaders in business, be they leaders of for profit or not for profit organizations. The guide could also be used by entrepreneurs starting a business, small business owners and even be used by individuals seeking to improve their success in life.
What struck me most about this book was the universality of the principals and the ways of sustainable growth among the pages of this easy to read book.
If you are someone who has come to know you and or your business needs to change to survive, Brandt understands your problem when he writes, “Everyone believes in change, provided it happens to someone else. Few of us are willing to change our own behavior, and the higher we are in the organization’s hierarchy, the less we are willing to do so.”
But change for the sake of change is not what this book is about. It is about demanding excellence from yourself and your business. Can you really separate the two?
The author proposes behavior that goes beyond economic profits to include other goals that would make you proud of yourself and your business.
This book is about respect and the integrity you need to gain respect.
Brandt writes, “This book postulates a new, more powerful paradigm, one that advocates the simultaneous pursuit of both ‘self-interest and ‘concern for others.’”
I strongly recommend this book to those in business who wish to enhance their companies, be they large or small, and anyone who wants to enhance the quality of their own life.

The Abyssal Plain book review

In many ways, The Abyssal Plain is an apoplectic novel. It tells a very imaginative tale of what might happen if never ending wars break the bank of the United States and the result is the deterioration of essential services, the erosion of the infrastructure that supports commerce and the loss of law and order.
Almost sounds contemporary and almost is. The novel begins in the year 2020.
As noted in the prologue: “The cities erupted into riots, into frenzies of self-destruction, and every passing day, the TVs and radios that still worked brought worse and worse news.”
But this is not a story that focuses upon gang warfare in the streets of the major cities. Instead it focus on a limited number of characters, two young women for the most part, who manage to avoid the worst aspects of a society falling apart by being “chosen” to find their way to an elaborate shelter tunneled deep into a mountain in West Virginia.
Chosen - who knows how or why? - by the wealthy genius who had this amazing underground world created for just such an apoplectic event.
I found this to be a well written tale that brought me along as I became more and more interested in these two young women whose paths met, separated, to meet again in an ending that surprised me and will certainly surprise you.
This is a novel for those who love to imagine and exercise their brains.

Saving Faith book review

Saving Faith is of novel of chance encounters that entwines the fate of both its main and minor characters. Not exactly the same, but for movie buffs, you might find yourself being reminded of the 2002 movie, Changing Lanes, starring Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson.
The story begins when Jack Fenien, a never adopted orphan who has been out of a Catholic orphanage for two years and now works as a repossessor for a used car dealer and who begins the story when he reposes the wrong car.
The story evolves as one chance encounter leads to another, starting with Ev Sorin, a disgraced journalist looking to get his career back on track and the man whose car Jack accidently reposed. Sorin, minus his car for a few days, hires Jack as his driver.
More and more characters are added along the way but the character that unites all of the character turns out to be Faith Powers, a comatose patient in a hospital whose true identity is unknown.
The story is told in the first person with Jack as the narrator. Although he tries to be objective and disinterested, he finds himself trying to help solve the mystery of what happened to Faith and along the way falls in love with a young woman, Clare, who is not a nurse but has an obsession of caring for Faith.
One murder leads to more as the characters come closer to discovering the how and why of Faith’s comatose condition. All of the characters have all too human flaws and none can be pegged as either the good guys or the bad guys.
It is the reality of these flawed characters that draw you to an ultimate conclusion you never saw coming.

One Man in His Time book review

One Man in His Time by William C. Prentiss is pretty much a timeline of the author’s life from his earliest days when growing up in Sterling, Illinois, born in 1932, to the recent present.
Prentiss says in his Forward, “I have only my own memory to rely upon, although it is supported by a wealth of letters and other documents I have kept over the years.”
I would say he has a very good memory and although he is about ten years my senior, I can vouch for the accuracy of some of the writer’s memory.
He writes about catching nightcrawlers to go fishing, which I clearly remember doing.
I smiled when he talked about needing to strip, take a shower and be inspected before going swimming and I can do him one better by remembering or adding that we needed to bend over and spread our cheeks before entering the pool to go swimming.
Anyone under the age of 50 might be shocked by his recollections of discipline in high school and they might be grateful for having grown up when things that were acceptable and normal in the past became prohibited and even illegal. Some of the initiations he went through were barbaric.
I found this a very interesting read. He is a good writer, a good and caring person who has been blessed with a good education and a very supportive wife.
Prentiss takes you through his early school days, college, time in the Air Force ROTC, college professor and time spent helping young boys avoid or transition out of the criminal justice system.
His time spent helping troubled youth resulted in him being the recipient of President Reagan’s Volunteer Action Award and the 1972 presidential campaign of George McGovern was an interesting read of politics at the grassroots level.
Summary: The author’s attention to his life’s details might cause you to want to skip ahead but don’t. He is a good writer and your perseverance through those details will provide you with a deeper understanding of the not too distant past. Reading his book might cause you to wish you had a relative like him to tell you what things were like, things not mentioned in history books.
In sum, I really liked his story and can highly recommend it to all from teenage on up.
About the author

William C. Prentiss spent ten years as Dean of the Florida Military School and later taught Adolescent Psychology and Juvenile Delinquency at the college level. In 1976, he founded an outstanding program for youths referred by the Juvenile Court in Orange County, Florida. This program, called Operation Comeback, was s selected by President Reagan in 1988 to receive his converted Volunteer Action Award which was presented at a White House Luncheon. Dr. Prentiss and his wife, Sallie, raised their three children and also opened their home at various times to seven troubled adolescent boys who lived with them for periods of time from four months to three years.

Doors to Perdition book review by Pete Klein

Doors to Perdition is a collection of short stories from the dark side. No monsters except for your everyday common variety of humans. The tales might have you thinking of stories by Rod Sirling or Alfred Hitchcock. These are tales of comeuppance - what goes around, comes around and bad karma.
Bergstad goes deep into his characters mind and soul, and graphically shows how they struggle with their bad decisions. You might find yourself feeling sorry for some and their ultimate fate. Others you will cause you to say, “Well they got what they deserve.”
Bergstad writing will have you guessing as he expertly weaves you through the plots and the minds of his characters.
I don’t want to give out the particulars of any of the stories because this would take away your fun in trying to figure out the endings before you get to the endings.
I will say this though. When you reach the conclusion of each and every story, you will agree Bergstad knows how to plot a story because the endings are logical and no one comes to save anyone from the fate Bergstad planned for them.
I highly recommend this book of short stories for all who enjoy a good puzzle and don’t mind going into the minds of people you wouldn’t want to know.
Author: J B Bergstad work has appeared in the Jimson Journal, Midwest Literary Magazine, The Quill, Indie Searchlight, Scissors and Spackle, Pedigru Review, The Monarch Review and The Feathered Flounder to name a few. His collection of short stories, Screwing the Pooch, first published in 2009 to excellent reviews, won the Reader's Choice Gold Medal Award for Best Fiction of the year.
