Hamilton County honors retirees

When the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors meet on January 6, it honored the following with proclamations.
PROCLAMATION HONORING MARIE BUANNO
WHEREAS Marie Buanno worked as a County Employee very faithfully since 2002 in various capacities, retiring as the Republican Election Commissioner in the Board of Elections Department, after serving in that capacity for ten years,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates Marie Buanno on her retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to Marie Buanno for her years of dedicated service as a Hamilton County employee.
HONORING RANDY DELONG
WHEREAS Randy DeLong worked as a Hamilton County employee very faithfully for 28 years, retiring as a Transfer Station Technician with the Hamilton County Public Works Department,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates Randy DeLong on his retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to Randy DeLong for 28 years of faithful and dedicated service as a County employee.
HONORING CLARENCE DESROCHERS
WHEREAS Clarence Desrochers worked as a Hamilton County employee very faithfully for 32 years, retiring as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Hamilton County Public Works Department,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates Clarence Desrochers on his retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to Clarence Desrochers for 32 years of faithful and dedicated service as a County employee.
HONORING DON PURDY
WHEREAS Don Purdy worked as a Hamilton County employee very faithfully for 14 years, retiring as the Emergency Services Director for Hamilton County,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates Don Purdy on his retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to Don Purdy for 14 years of faithful and dedicated service as a County employee.
PROCLAMATION HONORING RICHARD WILT
WHEREAS Richard Wilt served on the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors,
representing the Town of Arietta, very faithfully for 16 years, retiring at the end of his term on December 31, 2021. Richard served on many County committees through the years, serving most notably as Chairman of the Emergency Preparedness/Emergency Response Committee for many years, as well as the Public Works and Health Committees,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates Richard Wilt on his retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to Richard Wilt for 16 years of faithful and dedicated service as a member of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors.
HONORING JOHN STORTECKY
WHEREAS John Stortecky served on the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors, representing the Town of Benson, very faithfully for 4 years, leaving at the end of his term on December 31, 2021. John served as Chairman of the Human Services Committee, as well as being a member of the Finance, Health, Central Government and Emergency Preparedness Committees during his tenure,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Hamilton County and fellow employees, commends and congratulates John Stortecky on his years of service, and
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to John Stortecky for 4 years of faithful and dedicated service as a member of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors.
