Arietta Town Board holds end of year meeting

PISECO—The Arietta Town Board held a short ending of the year meeting on December 30, 2019 and began with the following resolution to appoint a Zoning Board of Appeals member.
“WHEREAS: the Town of Arietta will reappoint Barry Baker to the Arietta Zoning Board of Appeals for a new term effective January 1, 2020
“WHEREAS: it is necessary that the Arietta Town Board reappoint Barry Baker to a term of 5 years ending on December 31, 2024, and
“THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED: that the Town Board, Town of Arietta does hereby appoint Barry Baker to the Arietta Zoning Board of Appeals for the above terms.”
Supervisor Rick Wilt stated the next meeting, the organizational meeting, was to be held on January 6, 2020.
Highway Superintendent Small reported the Powley Road is repaired and the Town of Stratford said their end of the road is now passable for snowmobile groomers.
Supervisor Wilt thanked the Superintendent Small and the Highway employees for all their recent work.
Supervisor Wilt also thanked Mike Knapp for hard work and years of service on the Town Board.
